SN BRUSSELS AIRLINES
History : The history of Brussels Airlines dates back to 2002 when mother company SN Airholding was created by a group of about 40 investors. After bankruptcy SABENA.
The primary aim of the investors was to ensure the continuity of a reliable air connection to and from Brussels, the capital of Europe. The new company was called SN BRUSSELS AIRLINES.
In October 2004, it was decided that SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express would join together under the general ownership of SN Airholding, but would each retain their brand and operations independence in the market.
On the 15th September 2008, Lufthansa group announced its purchase of a stake in the Belgian airline company. After approval by the EU commission Lufthansa aquired an initial 45% stake in SN Airholding SA/NV, the parent company of Brussels Airlines.
Since 9 December 2009, Brussels Airlines is an official member of STAR ALLIANCE, the world's leading global airline partnership. (source : Brussels Airlines)

1. Airbus A319 & A320 :
Some destinations in Europe and Middle East are served by A319 & A320 aircrafts.
Brussels Airlines has 20xAirbus A319-111/112, each with about 141 seats & 9x Airbus A320-214, each with about 180 seats. (quantity in use will often change)
2. Airbus A330 :
African and American destinations are served by Airbus A330-300 & Airbus A330-200.
3. BRITISH AEROSPACE BAe 146 / AVRO RJ100 :
Some of the destinations in Europe are served by AVRO RJ100 aircrafts.
Brussels Airlines has about 9 AVRO RJ100 at its disposal.
4. De HAVILLAND CANADA DHC-8-402Q DASH 8 :
A few European destinations are served with both aircrafts.
