NATO TIGER MEET 2017 (53th edition) at BAN (base aéronautique navale) Landivisiau, France.
Tiger Meet hosted by the 11th Flotille, this squadron is the oldest and most prestigious squadron in the French Marine national. Flotille 11F is also a member of the NATO Tiger Association.
This squadron was created in 1918.
In 1940 this squadron participated in the Battle of France.
Currently the 11th Flotille uses the French Aircraft Carrier "Charles De Gaulle" for its off base operations.
Together with 4Aviation we started our day in Ghent. After a long drive and a few security checks we entered the base which is situated between Brest and St-Malo in the north of Bretagne.

1.600 people including 220 civil members give support towards 3 Flotilles (11F, 12F and 17F) and their own squadron 57S.

Below Dassault FALCON 10 MER is used for :
- IFR and night flying training for French Fleet Air Arm pilots based at NAS Landivisiau.
- Service flights on behalf of the Navy's staff officers.
- Various support missions in the 2ème region maritime (second naval area) for Escadre de l'Atlantique (Atlantic Command) ships.
