LE BOURGET 2015
CIVIL & MILITARY
The 51st edition of the biannual Paris Air Show closed its gates with a record number of visitors. Some 351.000 people, from the aerospace business and the general public found there ways towards the tarmac of Le Bourget Airport, France. This is about 11% more compared with the same airshow organised in 2013.
It is a large commercial event, with a major purpose to demonstrate military and civilian aircraft to potential customers...
Same format is organised at the Farnborough International Airshow in Britain and the ILA Berlin Air Show, both organised in alternate years with the Paris show.
During our visit we expected more from this airshow. The flying displays included mainly airplanes produced by the French aerospace industries. The PAC JF-17 Joint Fighter "THUNDER" from the Pakistan Air Force and manufactured by the Pakistan Aeronautical complex was the only surprise in the flying display. Also the ANTONOV AN-178 visual in the static display was a nice visitor.
It's not easy with all those visitors to take nice pictures at the static display...
